Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and filmmaker. Her elegant beauty and her accomplishments in the world of film are a testament to her skills as a model. Her career began as a model for fashion in the year 1970 then she rose quickly to prominence. From the 80s onwards, she attended classes in acting and theater before performing on the theater stage of Los Angeles. Russo began her film debut on ABCs drama show Sable in 1987 as the role of Eden Kendell. The following year, she played Tom Berengers love interest in her debut movie Major League. Some critics who were initially skeptical of her performance skills however, eventually became convinced when they saw her constant work. Her praise was for her role on Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak and also in Outbreak, where she was competing with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. The actress has acknowledged that acting isn't something she enjoys. In 2005 she decided to take a lengthy self-imposed pause. After a prolonged break, she came back to the screen in Thor. She also starred in Nightcrawler which was her husband's Oscar Award-winning film. The Intern was her first light-hearted comedy. Her next film was to make appearances in Just Getting Started and other comedies.

Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's most popular female athletes. Her career began in amateur fighting, competing in various regional promotions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Dana White was impressed and signed Rose to UFC's strawweight division when she was the age of 22 in December of 2014. The career of Rose has been full of both lows and highs, yet she is always in a position to emerge from her fights with a win. Rose fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Title and also won"Fighter of the Night. This was the first time a woman was able to fight a big promotion in a title fight. Namajunas won a number of fights after this win, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
